This relationship advice for women is going to be more of a confession. These are going to be some things that men think about love in general. It's a pretty broad topic and from what I've learned myself, every man has something different to say about love. There are a few key thoughts that all men share about love. Now why would you want to know this anyway? Well, how else would you ever get to hear a man talk about love? We are so wrapped our in our own ego that we would never compromise our masculinity to be caught dead talking about love.
1. Don't Ask Us If We Love You
This is one of those things that guys just don't like being asked. I don't know what it is about the question, it's probably the fact that it sounds like a loaded question.
I mean think about it. If we say yes, then you get suspicious. If we say no, well, it was nice knowing you anyway. If you really want to know whether we love you or not, simply be more observant. The fact that we're still together with you is a good start.
2. We Each Have Our Own Definition Of Love
Each man has his own way of showing love. I mean if you think about it, look at each country. There are multiple ways of showing it. Some people, like the Europeans, are extremely passionate and would literally die for their spouse.
Other people might not be so willing, but they would work night and day to make sure that they are able to sponsor them and make sure that they are able to live with them. Don't say, "well so and so's husband does this for her." That just shows that you don't respect our love.
3. What Makes Us Stop Loving You
Us guys are all about the little things. We do like being acknowledged. We do like being understood. We don't mind buying you expensive things if that's what you like and that's what you think shows that we love you.
Put in the time to recognise our efforts. Pay for the occasional meal when we're out. Don't talk to us, communicate with us. Try to talk on our level and get to know who we are and what we stand for. We will love you more for that.
This relationship advice for women is something that you probably won't find anywhere else. Not many guys are keen to talk about love, since it's simply a topic that we find hard to discuss.
