Relationship Advice For Women: Why Women Wearing The Pants In The Relationship Can Backfire

This relationship advice for women is pretty relevant to a lot of women out there. It doesn't surprise me when I get people referred to me who are stressed out and feeling that their wife doesn't respect them. When they go out, they always feel "whipped" and aren't even viewed with respect anymore from their friends. I've been in that position myself and it does suck. The man can only do much. If the woman is drunk with power, she might not realize that she is coming close to losing her man. Here is how being the master of the relationship can make your man get up and leave at any moment.

1. Appreciation

Appreciation is core to any person's existence. If you don't feel like you're appreciated, then you're going to find it. If you're married to someone who thinks that they're your boss instead of your wife, then you might go and find acknowledgment from someone else who sees you as an equal.

If you simply say thank you and sorry on your own accord, this can add up to some big brownie points down the track. Yes, we men do issue brownie points as well.

2. Remorse

Have you ever heard your boss call you into his office and tell you he was sorry for doing something and then give you a raise as compensation? Probably not. Well, if you're the person who's wearing the pants, you can quickly increase the amount of love your employee (I mean husband) gives you by being remorseful.

One of the worst things you could do is not know you've done something bad and hurt someone who is close to you. By showing remorse, it shows that you have empathy and that you're willing to drop the master act to ask for forgiveness.

3. You're Insecure

People who feel compelled to wrestle control away from their man (not that he was holding on tightly in the first place) are control freaks and are insecure. They need to have things their way, otherwise they can't function in peace.

At any sudden change in their preparations, they can feel threatened. Sure, wearing the pants might make you feel happy, but is it making your husband happy? Are you acknowledging him? We might be married to you, but if you're enough of a tyrant, we can simply get up and leave. Then what?

This relationship advice for women is particularly relevant if you think that you've been a bit unreasonable of late and have asked too much from your man. Make sure to appreciate him and say sorry if you've been unfair. That's usually enough to make him forgive and forget it ever happened.
